Hi there all,

Today, we’d like to announce the strategic partnership we made with ‘Terra,’ the leading next-generation blockchain-based payment platform. Together with Terra, we seek to create a blockchain ecosystem with compatibility of service for mass adoption based on the technical power and know-hows of both parties.

Terra provides a blockchain-based payment system utilizing price-stable cryptocurrency called ‘stablecoin.’ Terra’s focus on cross-chain solution facilitates a variety of dApps to use Terra’s service with ease. Terra has also successfully established what’s called Terra Alliance with some of the fastest growing e-commerce services with tens of millions of global users including Korea’s Ticket Monster(TMON), Woowa Brothers, and Yanolja, along with the largest Southeast Asian mobile listings platform, Carousell and the Vietnamese TIKI. Terra Alliance is planning to commercialize its payment service based on a total of $25 billion in annual transaction volume and 40 million customers.

Through this strategic partnership, we will actively discuss the ways in which Terra’s payment system can be utilized on our platform. Collaborating with Terra will further contribute to solidifying Klaytn’s position as a blockchain platform for mass adoption. In addition, we will together engage in a joint research for releasing Terra’s stablecoins on our platform.

Cheers,
Team Klaytn
